Standing Alone

Everything was unpacked, my apartment was small but suitable. I had finally set up my job at the local book store and I had Thursdays and Saturday's off. Those days would be spent in back in Forks trying to break through to Sin. I had no illusions about my task. I knew it would be hard, I knew Seth could kill me if he wanted to. That was ok, I was trying and thats all that mattered.

My lips touched the eage of my cigaret, a low puff of smoke came from it as i waited for Lily to show up for her shift at my store..

As I entered the store I nodded my greeting to Sorrow and took my place behind the counter. I was ready to start another necessary work day. My life depended on it now.

when she came by i could smell a Werewolf i blew a bit of the cigaret smoke away as i therew it to the ground my foot stomped it to dust. i moved my self into the book store then asked lily slowly "who did you say your Fiance is?" i held our a cigret to her and asked slowly "want one"

"Why does it matter?" I asked trying to keep the annoyance from my tone "and no, I don't smoke."

"ah so theres no Fiance is there" i pulled the cigaret into a one of my pokets, then i pushed my glasses alittle higher on the rim of my nose

"There is, why would you even ask if there wasn't?" I hissed defensively, truth was I didn't even know where Sin stood now. I hadn't gone to see him since I left Forks. I would have to go soon. "whats it to you anyway?"

"First off i was hopeing you where single. Secondly you smell like a banquet of Carnations" In secret i was a bit thirsty, i decided i was going to go hunt after our little... chat "i realy just want to be your friend" i twisted a strand of silver hair that hung over my left ear..

I resisted the urge to smell myself at that point, he was wrong about the scent I wore cucumber melon body mist. But I had always had a strange feeling about him. I knew he wasn't human and I had to becareful around him. "Why?"

I moved my hand to push up my glasses again "well i want to make sure you dont get hurt." my lips where in a truthfull smile

I chuckled quietly "to late for that" I muttered thinking he hadn't heard.

"what happened exactly?" i put my index finger to my lower lip when i asked her

"Nothing you wouldn't understand" I shook my head what was I doing! "Your my boss I shouldn't be talking to you about this crap, and you know Sorrow do you thrive on being unpredictable? Because one day your annoying me the next your Mr. Social!" I snapped, I needed to end the conversation now.

"all right i will leve you be gosh then again whats his number ill call him for you".. my head was faceing away from her, my cell phone held in my right hand i was going to annoy Sin the best i could..

"No, he doesn't even know I'm here!" I let out a string of curse words underneath my breath. Me and my big mouth, yes it was true I had not told Sin I was here and I would not tell him until he won the fight. That way Seth would not know either and I would be somewhat safe.

in a second of silence i could hear her heart beat and another heart beat that mached hers exactly, and the beat was comeing closer..

I folowed Lilys smell to a Book store, i pushed open the door to see lily, i jumped tha last few steps as my Hot arms wraped around lily tightly..

I tensed with fear, but I quickly registered the warmth he was Sin again. I hugged him back as my body trembled I did not mean to lose control but everything seemed to be going so wrong.

My lips curled into a smile "go take the day off i got nothing better to do"

I smiled gracefully, my lips presed to her ear..

I looked up at Sin and laughed before I broke away from him and went to grab my bag "thanks Sorrow." I said quietly and I led the way out. We wouldn't go to my apartment as long as we didn't go there everything was fine.

i followed slowly my hands on her waist as we walked

"I told you I'd come back to Forks" I said quietly "you shouldn't have come all the way down here."

" i dont rember you saying any thing like that, all i rember was i got punced in the face, then Seth got to play with my body"

I shivered at the memory "I left a note, you never found it?"
