I hopped out of my Ferrari and took the waiting hand of my brother. He smiled at me as we glided into the office, followed by the stares of the humans. John and I looked the same: the same slightly curly blonde hair, the same electric blue eyes.
That was one difference. While normal ones of our kind had red eyes, or black, we had kept our insanely un-vampiric blue eyes, which helped us blend in with the humans. In the office, the lady at the front desk glanced at us. "May I help you two?"
It was obvious that she had dely with others like us before. She even did a double-take, looking back up at my handsome, charming brother.
"Yes," I replied. "Lacey and John White? We're starting here today." What a sweet voice, the lady at the front desk thought. Like bells chiming.

I checked my watch as I hurried into the school office. I had been assigned to show the new students around. This was most likely because my schedule probably matched theres. That was the criteria for someone getting a break from classes to show the newbies around. As I entered the office my eyes fell on two insanely beautiful students. If I didn't know better I'd say they were vampires, but that was not possible there eyes were blue, ten times more blue then mine.

I cocked my head, turning to face the human girl.
The lady at the desk spoke. "Ms Walsh, these are the new students. They're schedules are similar to yours, so please show them around campus."
I smiled at the girl. "Hello," I said. "I'm Lacey White. And this is my brother, John."

"Lily Walsh, a pleasure to meet you both." I responded polite "follow me, you'll find this school is as boring as it is small." I said with a smirk.

I kept smiling. "I'm sure it's not that boring, with all these wonderful people around. Especially if they're like you. You're a very nice person."

i twisted my self around the corner of the bulding, placeing my self in frunt of the new 'Human' students i glared at them slowly, i opend my lips enughf to let out a small but vary fast voice that no one would under stand exept the two "dont touch Lily or your lives are mine" I Sprinted up to liily, be for i pecked her onm the cheek and wraped my arms around her..

The werewolf boy ran up. With an innocent expression on my face, I said, "You're not very nice, are you?" To my brother I whined, "John! Tell him to be nicer."
He said, "How would we hurt her?"

I roled my eyes then tolled them "your vampires i can smell it" i twited my nose for a second the smell never realy bothered me any more i had goten to much vampire venom into my system

I pouted. "Evangeline said that you were part vampire. It is true?"
I leaned my head on John's shoulder and wrapped my arms around him.

I tensed "Sin be nice" I mumbled worriedly I did not want a confrontation.

"yeah whats it to you?" i twisted my exprestion into a smile to get the on lookedrs to think it was nothing

I looked at her thoughtfully. "Sin. Everytime I say that name she cringes."
John said, "She clutches at her chest and starts to cry."
He put his arm around my shoulders and put his head on mine. "It's very sad," I murmured. "So sad that anyone can hurt that much."

i cringed slowly i opend my eyes my teeth baren at them "shut up, she can for get me" My body Rattled wildy...

"I don't know... she has to stay with us now. We found her, right before she was going to ask the Volturi to die. Her teeth are funny. And she smells funny." I wrinkled my nose. "Isn't that right, John? She smells like a..."
"...Werewolf," John finished. "Like a werewolf. We asked her about it but she wouldn't answer."

i held my hand up in frunt of my face, holding it up like i was going to backe a skull, i craked it "shut up she will find some one thats better then me"

I sighed. "We just want her to get better. Her family is worried. They're coming to visit her soon. Her brothers,William and Henry..."
"...Are very protective of her." John looked at me. "And her mother thinks that Evangeline has lost her mind. We read that when a vampire loses their soulmate, they feel broken."
"So very, very sad," I said, eyes downcast.

All I could do was watch the exhange helplessly.

"If I lost John, I wouldn't be able to live," I murmured, staring into my brother's eyes.
"And nor I without you," he said lovingly.

I moved my self a little bit away from Lily the pain was clear on my face. "ill kill you"

John and I ignored him. We started walking away, murmuring,"So sad, so sad, so sad, a vampire without her mate..."
It's quite fun to mess with others.
"I wonder if maybe he should go see her," I said, just loud enough for the wolf to hear.

My head bowed, at the sight of Sin's expression, my stomach lurched. There was nothing I could say now.

i breathed hard "i cant be hear right now ill be back later" i moved my self clomsly out side i ran to a tree that hung with a branch i could put my self on like a bed, i layed there covering my face the pain under my hands where clear, my right arm started to pulse and tryed to drag me off the tree and most likely to find Evergliane, i ignopred it and layed my had against the tree branch

I could smell the wolf's doubt, his pain and agony, his guilt over what had happened. And that is what I thrived on. John quietly started to chuckle, and I giggled in my high-pitched voice.

Nausea flooded through me like uncontrolled rapids, I wanted to go after him. To let him know it was ok, but school...I was already in trouble. "Screw it!" I hissed, I didn't want to leave Sin alone out there, in that cold world.

"But I do wonder," I started. "If maybe the wolf feels more towards Evangeline than he admits to himself?"
John said, "Most likely. But it's unnatural, for a wolf and a vampire to love one another."
"They changed their own fate in Volterra," I sighed. "Twice."
